What if I have not setup any units or processed any transactions in a monthly cycle, do I still get billed a fee?
Yes, you are charged the base subscription fee ($25), starting the month you sign up and every month until you cancel your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription a number of different ways: click the Account link on the DIY Real Estate Solutions web site, e-mail our billing department at billing@diyresolutions.com, call 1-866-602-9007 ext. 604, or write to DIY Real Estate Solutions Billing Department, PO Box 204, Novelty, Ohio 44072.
Do I sign an annual contract?
No, you agree to the Terms of Use as outlined in the sign up process, but are not obligated to any long-term service agreements. You may discontinue the service at any time as long as you notify our billing department.
Are there Setup or Support fees?
No. All setup and support is included in your monthly Base Subscription fee. Additional services, such as Credit Screening and Electronic Rent Payments may require a setup fee.
Is it units or residents that are counted for my monthly billing?
We count the number of units you have setup in the per unit monthly charge, whether the unit is occupied or vacant.
What happens after I sign up?
You will receive a Welcome e-mail with your Owner ID, Log-on credentials, and the link to the DIY Real Estate Solutions Web site, as well as a Quick Start guide to setting up a property. In addition, there will be contact information to help you with any questions.
How do I sign up for credit screening and electronic rent payment services?
You can contact us via e-mail at sales@diyresolutions.com or call us at 1-866-602-9007 ext. 603 and a representative will be happy to help you register for these additional services.
What kind of equipment do I need to use with the DIY Real Estate Software?
You will need a Personal Computer with Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE 6.0 or higher) and a high speed internet connection.
